Bronco 4-Door vs 2-Door: Which Interior Hammock Fits Your Rig

The most common question we get is also the simplest: which hammock fits my Bronco? Interior hammocks are not one-size products. The length of the cabin, the position of the roll bar hardware, and the seat layout all change the pattern, so the right answer depends on the body style you drive.

Bronco 4-door

The 4-door has the longest interior run, which is why it supports both a solo and a tandem configuration. Start with the Bronco 4-door collection. Choose the solo hammock if one person sleeps inside, or the tandem hammock if two people share the cabin.

Bronco 2-door

The 2-door is a shorter cabin, so it gets its own pattern and its own hardware placement. The 2-door hammock is a solo setup. Do not order the 4-door version for a 2-door rig — the geometry is different and it will not hang correctly.

Bronco Raptor

The Raptor shares the 4-door body but differs enough in the interior to warrant its own build. Use the Bronco Raptor collection.

Solo or tandem?

Solo is one sleeper, hung along the cabin. Tandem is a two-sleeper arrangement available where the cabin length supports it. If you camp with a partner in a 4-door, tandem is the reason to choose the 4-door build over solo. Every option is listed side by side in all hammocks.

Three things to check before you order

  • Roof type. Factory hardtop and soft top both work. Aftermarket roofs can change the attachment picture, so tell us the manufacturer before ordering.
  • Roll bar hardware. The brackets use existing hardware. If your roll bar has been modified or replaced, ask first.
  • Lead time. Each hammock is sewn to order and typically ships in five to seven business days. If you are leaving for a trip sooner, say so in the order notes.

Still unsure? Look at the installation guides for your model — they show exactly where the brackets land — or email hang@merakihammocks.com with your year and trim.
